Neither ILAC or IAF has asked any housing management companies to solicit members – if you receive a call/email from someone offering to reserve your bedroom for the IAF-ILAC Mid-Term Meetings – do not accept. This is generally a scam. Delegates should book their own accommodations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I am not a member of IAF or ILAC, can I still attend the meetings in Mexico City?
Meeting participation is restricted to members of IAF and ILAC, as well as invited guests and limited observers. If you would like to be considered as an observer, please contact the conference organizer by filling out the form on this page and indicate which meetings you are interested in attending. Observers must be approved by Convenors / Chairs of the meetings they wish to attend. If approved to attend, observers must register online and pay the conference registration fees before their registration is confirmed.
How do I get a letter of invitation for visa purposes?
You must first register to attend the meetings. During the registration process you will be asked to enter more information if you require a visa invitation. Please submit your request for a visa invitation early to avoid unnecessary delays. You can find more information about Mexico’s visa requirements by clicking here. Observers require special permission from Chairs and Convenors and only after that permission is granted can invitation letters be sent.
My organization is not permitted to pay invoices by credit card, how can I pay for the registration fees?
You must first register to attend the meetings. During the registration process you will be asked about your payment preference. If you select the ‘pay by wire transfer’ option, you will receive an invoice with details of how to pay your registration fees by wire transfer. If you are not able to pay your invoice by wire transfer, please contact the conference organizer by completing the contact form.
I registered before the early bird date, but I haven’t sent my payment yet? Can I still receive the early bird discount?
No. The early bird rate is only extended to delegates who register and pay before the cut-off date. It is the responsibility of delegates to ensure their payment is received by the conference organizer prior to the cut-off date. Unfortunately, no exceptions will be granted.
I have not received my invoice, document login info, payment receipt, etc…?
Please ensure that the email address used when you registered for the meetings is accurate. Additionally, please be sure to add this email address to your ‘safe senders list’ and check to ensure your confirmation notices aren’t being sent to your spam folder.
